Before the Internet, private investigators relied on the city directory as a source of information on subjects, businesses and witnesses. These 23 individual books of the Des Moines metro area and Des Moines North Suburban directories span the years 1984 to 1998, and allow searching for an individual or business by name, address and/or telephone number. And, old directories often listed employment information. These directories are in very good condition, and come from the private library of a long time Des Moines private investigation agency. $5 per directory, or all 23 directories for $100.
